How long will a typical estimate take?
Our service technician typically takes 30 minutes to an hour to complete an estimate depending on the scope of the work. Commercial estimates should allot for a minimum of an hour.
What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
We suggest that you make a list of items that you would like to discuss with the technician, so that you do not forget any trouble areas. If you plan on providing any materials for the work it is suggested that you have them available at the time of your estimate so the technician can ensure that the materials you have purchased can work with your application.
When will I receive my free proposal?
It is our policy to have proposals submitted within 48 hours of an estimate via e-mail.
I've received my free proposal, how do I schedule my work to be done?
You can contact Light It Up Electric LLC toll free at 855-333-9354 between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm or simply use the request a service form.
What should I expect on the day of my appointment?
You should expect that your assigned technician will arrive in a timely manner, ready to work. Our courteous staff will treat your home as if it were their own.
We will take the time to explain any new complications that may have been discovered during your job. We can find a solution and assess your problem on the spot, in most instances, which will help your electrical system run smoothly the minute that technician leaves, alleviating any need to schedule additional appointments.
How do I add the cost of any additional services that may have been unforeseen to my invoice?
After the technician has informed you of the problem, he will contact the office and get approval to give you a cost on the spot. At that time, you can choose to fix the problem or wait until a later time if that is an option. The office staff will then send you an addendum to your invoice at that time so that you have documentation for your records. All services rendered are expected to be paid in full on the date they are executed.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards as well as personal checks and cold hard cash.
How long are my services under warranty?
All services completed by employees of Light It Up Electric LLC are under warranty for one (1) year from the date of service. If any unforeseen problems arise in that time period, due to failure of the electrical wiring involved with your specific installation or repair contact Light It Up Electric LLC and we will send a service technician out to inspect the problem. We work hard to provide our customers with quality work and a feeling of comfort in knowing that they are safe with a job well done. Of important note - If you have services rendered by Light It Up Electric LLC and choose to have another electrician, handyman or attempt to fix any problems on your own, you warranty becomes void at that time. We strongly suggest that you contact us prior to making any decisions and we will be glad to check your problems out.
